I have a Diana Model 65 that was completely rebuilt by Peter at North Silva. He said the internals were as new condition and replaced what was needed. Externally the metal is pristine and the wood has a few bruises. Butt pad is cracked.
Just wondering what it would be worth if I were to list it for sale. only reason for selling is I don't use it at all and would rather see it being used by someone with an interest in this type of air rifle.
Thanks,
Scott

The Diana 65 model was a recoilless spring piston rifle using the Giss system. It was designed for 10 meter target shooting and is relatively low powered by typical spring piston model standards. It was manufactured from 1968 to 1989.

It can be difficult to put a value on older airguns. For a collector or enthusiast, the rifle may be quite desirable, perhaps as much as the FWB 300.

From the Tenth Edition of the Blue Book of Airguns the following values are suggested, with rifles graded in 100% condition as much as $500, 95% at $425, 90% at $350, 80% at $290 etc. down to a 20% grading at $100.

Thanks Gruahanan,
I think that book was released in 2012?
Would that be 2012 pricing in US dollars?

I haven't followed the airgun market closely for a few years, so I can't say how much, if at all, prices may have changed.

A harder-to-find rifle such as a Giss system Diana would have the greatest appeal for collectors and perhaps to some target shooters.

I appreciate the help. It really is a beautiful rifle but just not going to get used the way it should be. Being as it has been rebuilt it gives it a whole new life with a new owner who can appreciate the quality craftmanship it has been built with.
