The 308 versions do usually sell for way less than the 223 versions and that was a price you could get them for a few years ago.

I hope they make one that is actually a plasma rifle in the 40 watt range. Honestly a t81 is a t81 only ever chambered in 7.62x39. Everyone wants norinco to make some special run just for them in their favourite calibre (someone said 243???) can we just accept it for what it is instead of turning it into some boomer FAL “Canada legal” knock off please.

There is a .308 Type 81, it’s called the CS/LR-14. Made for export, but as far as I know nobody has ever purchased them. Would be neat to get a semi-auto run
