What would happen to handgun owners in Ontario if a ban came into effect?

Would you get to keep the guns you own? Would YOU get "grandfathered" and get to own handguns forever (meaning you'd get to buy additional handguns)? Or just the guns you owned at the time?

I'm sure this has been talked about before but I think its good to have a fresh thread for up to date discussion. Eh?

Every time this topic has been discussed it has resulted in the concensus that instead of wringing our hands with "what if's" we get off our collective butts and join a progun orgainization like Canadian Shooting Sports (icon at the top of the page and you can sign up online) and join a pro gun political party and make bloody sure it won't happen. Balls in our court and we don't have much time, get involved now!!!
