Type 81M... Folder or Fixed

My underfolder arrived yesterday and I took it to the range today. I'm having absolutely no problem with check weld, but it's more like a chin weld.

I find the T81 does an excellent job of mitigating x39 recoil on its own. These things are beautiful additions to the T81 family.

These things are heavy. I would call the barrel on these 81M a bull barrel and they definitely have less felt recoil than the SKS.

T81M Fixed is listed at 7.8 lbs and the SKS (Yugo) is listed at 8.5, with the Russian closer to 9 lbs. Don't know why felt recoil would be less in the T81, but who knows. Do you have a brake?

Muzzle brakes do work, I remember the pistol grip Mossy 500 I had with a huge muzzle brake on it, worked quite well shooting from the hip.

Their action is longer and doesn't ground out as vigorously as VZs or SKS rifles. More of a kerchunk then a pop.

Is there a slip on rubber butt stock pad, cheek weld riser, or extended safety available for the under folder?
