All-New: Type 81M

Just an FYI on your photo with the two side by side and upper hand guards removed, you can see the serial number on your SR and again on the first photo of the post can see the S/N of your UF. Figured since you went to the trouble of redacting the other photos, I would give you a heads up.

I don't think personally I would be interested in a restricted shorter barrel but I would invest in a rifle if they had a new production run of the older style side folder with original PLA sights. I missed out in past years but I would be interested in buying one that isn't 2000.00 on GP. Give that some food for thought T.I. :)

Pretty nice refinishing job but I don't think that is the same wood as I've seen on T81M versions... which seem to be pretty scarce of having any significant grain or figure. If it is Beech, then it's a way nicer grade than what I've seen.

It does remind me of some European Beech I refinished on my VZ58 style rifles...

There was no grain visible on the SR furniture with the original factory finish.

That's why the SR were initially priced $300 more than the standard versions, much better quality.

They're not that appealing to me to be honest... like the carbine look. Don't really like folders but I like the earlier version folder with reddish wood and a wooden cheekpiece. Those looked pretty awesome.

No body cares about your shipping info. It will get there trust the process ffs this is getting really old, every time it's the same story

Really makes you wonder if they are selling rifles that they don't have just yet? Early on in the thread, everything was moving fast and seamlessly, I mean heck, someone got their rifles in hand a week after ordering. Not to mention, everyone was saying that their files were shipped promptly after transfer notice and yet here I am waiting.

If it's going any slower now maybe they are opening boxes and checking rifles out before shipping them to buyers.

I have bought from them b4 and they are great to deal with, haven't seen many others bringing in cool toys for us Canucks.
