All-New: Type 81M

:agree: A Krink??? That would be irresistible indeed!!! w:h:

A "Krink" version would be restricted because of barrel length. This would, of course, facilitate confiscation.
Does anyone think that these T81s will escape the next round of prohibitions based on Justin's "evergreen" classification principle?
Better work to bring about a change in government.

Received mine tonight. Exactly what I expected, except the slant brake was missing. But I'll chock that up to an oversight and being swamped with orders. I'll email them and I'm sure they'll make it right.

As for the rifle, she's a big of a hog. But I expected that. And my main comparison is my SA side folder from the 2017 import. The older gun is sleeker and overall, a better design IMO. I wish they would have slimmed down the barrel to cut weight and used the same wood as the older design. But those aren't deal breakers to me. I just tried to put my old SA wood on the new gun just to see if I can and it won't work because the barrel is significantly larger on the M's. All good though. I'll upgrade it when the time is right. The aftermarket will take care of it over the next few months once more of these are in people's hands. All in all, I'm happy with it and it's a cool addition to the collection.

Just wanted to add that after emailing TI about the missing slant brake from my order, Zac got back to me within a day or so and said that they'll have one out to me shortly. Looking forward to it. It'll complete the look I'm going for with this rifle.

Had I known there are basically no M16x1 RH muzzle brakes except for the one or two available on TI's site, I probably would have included one with my order.
Anyone know anywhere that sells brakes in the M16x1 RH thread size other than TI?

Don't care. Would buy a Krink in a blink. Justine is doomed.
I'm optimistic and started buying restricted's again this year. The Libs are only good at confiscating your hard earned cash.

Going to transfer my extra BNIB unit to another CGN'r, is there any way T.I could transfer Warranty rights to the new buyer with Name/Serial/Pics, or whatever is needed?

Willing to pay a small paperwork fee from both parties if that's what it takes. If not, that's fine - no worries.

(Both look bone straight, if that matters. Unfired, haven't found ammo locally yet).

A Restricted Krink with folder and wood cheekweld would be my only Folder I'd be interested. They are just damned cool. NR rifles are great but short barrel and folder brings it up a couple notches.

All 3 of my Underfolders measure almost zero in deflection, and look perfect aligned when looking through end of barrel to cleaning rod hole in back of Receiver.

No clue on measurement and stuff but mine look straight and ready to party. If any are out of spec from the "M", I'd like to see some percentages out of the whole batch. I'm sure every batch will be better and better.

Some of us remember the CZ858 had that Czech workmanship and also a trigger gremlin and a few issues, that we dealt with. I still loved those.

Looking at this parkerizing/powdercoat??? (if that's what it is), I don't expect these to wear well and look like a Mossy 590A1 if used hard... if anyone is familiar with that pattern. No wall hangers here, they're a battle rifle.
