Honestly, I doubt a cop or court will care if you are using ACR mags or not, it is a sham. 5 rounds is 5 rounds and 10 rounds is 10 rounds.

Same reason why ruget pcc is... 10 round mag.

do a mag release mod. swap out the factory mag release for an AK mag release. Makes tapco mag changes 100X easier. Outside of that, the rifle is pretty much good enough as it is.

My point is, if you should get inspected if you have a magazine limited to 5 rounds in your rifle or not, I doubt anybody would recognize that yours is a pistol magazine. The 10 round Glock magazine is easily identifiable as such. Also because the PPC's shoot pistol ammunition while the XCR magazine holds rifle rounds.

Im trying to stay polite here but this is the sort of cowtoeing #### is why we are in the position we are in now.

Its printed on the mag. It's a originally made as a 10 round pistol mag. It isnt a 30 rounder i scribbled on.

Im really trying not to get bandoozled here.

You know a cop doesn't need an actual reason to arrest you? Do you really think all cops understand the difference between an AR15 and a non-restricted black rifle? Do you think they all understand the difference between a rifle caliber and a pistol caliber carbine? LOL.

I once saw someone get all concerned because of a small box labelled "Large Rifle" primers. Beyond the fact that the tiniest of rifles wouldn't fit into that little box didn't seem to dissuade the dumbass from being concerned about a LARGE rifle in a teeny tiny box 1/3 the size of a loaf of bread. People are dumb and some of them have a badge with which to enforce their dumbness.

I had an sbi mag release and it was absolute garbage. I then got a texas SRR ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMWF9l7HNMw ) and it is the absolute best SKS mag release. I tried checking their website but it seems they are discontinued unfortunately. Should of bought two, maybe someone who makes T81 parts could try and get one out there

OP - mostly leave the rifle alone.

I have a BadAce rear sight scope mount and really like it with a small red-dot sight. It's a simple and durable scope mount.

I added the MCarbo medium trigger spring and 3D printed myself a custom bolt buffer.

x2 for BadAce rear sight mount. I put one on my last SKS. They are very well made and stable. With a red dot, it makes shooting a lot easier, especially for old guy eyes.
