Shipping dies from the U.S

Anyone have any experience ordering Dies from the states? Do we have any import restrictions on them?

No restrictions on any tooling like dies, presses, trimmers, bullet molds etc.

Might be on factory level ammunition machinery but no on the things most of us are getting.

Never been a problem with dies or other reloading tools other than some automated machinery.

I ordered some RCBS dies a few months ago that I couldn't find from a dealer in Canada through Amazon, and they were shipped from Washington. No issues for me, the dies arrived promptly.

That's cuz they came through Van's CBSA... and not Mississauga...

Ch4d has dies for thousands of chamberings you've never dreamed of. Delivery time varies though.

Got Wilson dies & parts direct from them. It is more finding a business that ship to Canada at a price point that make sense than anything else. Creedmoor Sport ship and many others (Dillon)but International USPS shipping rate are almost never below $25/$30 us, most more.

You got lucky. Bought some buffers for a Marlin 22lr, 9 weeks

Thats clearly a Mississauga CBSA poor management.
Got my stuff from the US in 2-3 weeks max but none seem to transit by Missisauga.

Nope. I have bought stuff from Forster and Wilson. No problems with Customs at all.
