Bargera B14 Squared Crest info?

Lots of reviews on YouTube, seems quite positive. They've only just started landing in Canada. The current production B-14s have a solid reputation - they are the "default" recommendation (B-14 HMR + Viper PST) for new long range shooters over on r/longrange. I wonder if we'll see them introduce a Crest model with their carbon barrels.

Anyone here have one of these ?

I was torn between the Crest and the more traditional Wilderness Ridge (but with the CURE Carbon barrel - I fell I love with it a couple weeks back at Scheel's in Grand Forks). One of our sponsors had a smoking deal on the Ridge Carbon, so I ended up ordering that. I do prefer a floorplate for hunting anyways.

Should be here Tuesday.

Just curious as to how you’re liking that ridge carbon?

It's exquisite. It feeds and cycles amazingly well, but it only has 15 down the barrel so far. My loads were basically .308 Winchester velocity (starting loads with 175gr LRX) so I'm reserving judgement until I start pushing them a bit more.

But in the hands it's very nice. I don't love the stock, not that it's super flimsy (it's about Tikka levels of rigidity) but I really want to drop it into a Greyboe Trekker or something rad. Or cool. Or skibidi. Or whatever the kids are saying these days.

I just got one in .308 a few days ago. It feels good in the hand andat the shoulder. The a tion is super slick and doesn’t bind. Will have a scope on it by Monday and a ranger report soon.

Okay, I’m tardy with my range report but I must sayy it is a good shooting rifle! Easily held MOA with a cheap Vortex. i just re-scoped it with a Burris Veracity PH 3X15 scope and will be sighting it in with 168 grain Barnes ttsx. Looking forward to how well it does. It’s a very nice rifle, smooth and accurate.
