Scam Alert

Not trying to be a #### but you really gotta check around CGN more often. They are very well known scammers and it has been brought up here quite often.

Still amazed the popo let them continue.

Try to go through their location and literally google it Street vie. Otherwise every business must be licensed through RCMP, so there are other ways to find out if it is legit
 
Let's see, they claim to have everything in stock, that nobody else can get, they list at 2020 prices, and they don't take credit cards. A person would have to be extremely gullible to think that they weren't a scam.
 
Fact they sell AK pistols. They have to be legit *rolls eyes*

Also the terms of service they stole everything from SFRC.

The address is linked to their other scam business bulk ammo store.

How do people keep falling for these websites? Like the sites are so clearly a fake scam website that you would have to be drunk, high, or completely internet illiterate to fall for them.

Don't recognize the company name or website? Google them, and their addresses to see if they exist. Read their about me page or blog section. If it references 2a or anything not to do with Canadian fire arms laws and info then t's a scam. Check what they are selling, if they are selling prohibs it's a scam. If they have all the ammo and primers no one else has at prices no one else sells them at. It's a scam. Last if they don't accept a credit card it is most likely a scam though some Canadian stores so not take credit cards. But that is a rarity, and those sites are verifiable businesses with actual addresses that show they exist.

While I was already aware of this, thank you for sharing for those that have a life and don't read every post/thread ever posted on this sight and may not have known this before. Some people think that just because THEY read something on here before that everyone has and when someone else brings it up as something new to them, they have to respond with some derogatory BS (or lock the thread). This is a big and busy sight. If someone was to read EVERY new post in EVERY category every day I would suggest that they really have no life as that would consume the the better part of a day....every day.

Don't people browse website before sending money? You don't need to search CGN, to find the warning signs on these scam sites. This one used direct from SFRC their terms of service. I mean alot are still selling handguns, or AKs. Some talk about the 2A.

One had pop ups from people in European countries that bought stuff. Sounds legit for a Canada company. Or phone number setup like a European number.

The signs where there. I mean a Google search brought up yelp reviews that it's a scam site.
 
I see one of the current scam sites is now listing that they take credit cards. I wonder if credit card transactions are actually being processed, as the credit card companies would be getting calls to stop payment, when people finally realize they have been scammed.

Not everyone that visits a reloading supply site is looking for primers. I can certainly see how someone that has been scammed in the past or has a criminal way of thinking would be overly cautious, but the few of us that have not been scammed and would never dream of scamming anyone else would not look at every single site with suspicion. As always, it's the good hearted, trusting people that get taken advantage of. Like everything, live and learn and when good people like the OP try to help others avoid getting taken, they should be thanked and commended rather than criticized and ridiculed. There are new people joining the site every day so even if it has been posted 2 weeks ago, there are many who will not have seen it. I like the idea of a category near the top specifically to post these scams so EVERYONE can see them at a glance rather than just stumbling onto a post in some other category. JMO.

There are several things that usually give away the scammers. When a store advertises that they have every powder in stock, or every primer in stock, it should raise suspicion. When the prices are way lower than everyone else, that should raise suspicion. When they advertise handguns for sale, that should raise suspicion. When they don't take credit cards, that should raise suspicion. When the reviews listed on the site are from foreign countries , that should raise suspicions. When two of these apply, it should definitely raise suspicions. When three or four of these apply, it should be blatantly obvious that something isn't right.

Except the people that are nornally posting saying they were scammed, are not new people.

You can post all the PSA you want, if people don't search, how are they going to bother reading the warning posts?
