This happened after 2 days of owning my new stock
I went to take the barreled action from the stock and it was wedged in there so tight I chipped it!!!!
No only that, the area around the take down screw was chipped as well!!!
I PM'ed a fellow CGN'er, Wrong Way, and he fixed it up right. All I can say is it surpassed my expectations.
He re-worked the chipped areas, opened the barrel channel to relieve the stress on the action, re-sealed it and refinished it to match. Now it is a brease to take in and out of the stock.
