Norma projectiles in Canada

Both rusty wood and budget import from grafs.com, who carry most Norma products and should be able to get anything Norma for you

Yup! I can import Norma ammo & components from one of my USA suppliers. Send me an email with a description of what you would like & I'll look into the availability & price.

Regards, Henry

I sent you an email. Apparently Sporteque could not be bothered to respond to my email; I sent it last weekend.

Been thinking about trying the Norma ORYX in my 338wm.

Anyone have experience with these?

I shot a 6x5 Bull Elk with a 196 ORYX from my 325WSM. The shot was over 300 meters, and he just
went 20 feet and collapsed. I did recover the bullet. It looks very good. Expanded well and stayed
together.

Shot an immature bull moose with a 180 ORYX from my 308 Norma Mag. Bullet exited, moose died right
there. Range was 140 meters.

I think they are a good bullet, and they tend to be easy to find an accurate load with. Dave.

Thanks, that sounds good.

Why are there so few? XReload is the only one I can find with any listed and they are always “sold out”. You see the occasional box or two at various stores but certainly not what one would consider stocking vendors.

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?

Ya, hard to find. I LOVE the 170gr 7mm Normas. Whenever I find these or 140gr 6.5 Woodleighs, I buy them all.

You bought a 9.3x57 rifle but didn't understand factory ammo has not ever been readily available?

It was readily available from Tradex at the time I bought my 9.3x57 rifle. They had 9.3x57 ammo in stock back then just in case you don't remember "those" times...

Does this answer your question ?

Piker,

Intersurplus has Hornady, Barnes, Nosler, PPU, Speer and Swift in stock right now. ... no Norma, but any of those others will make the Moose or Bear just as dead.

Can't be too picky these days.
