Ever wanted a MASTERKEY??? Ever feel the need for something more under your barrel? Well have I got a surprise for you!!!

Thanks to a heads up from a fellow CGN'er, I got my hands on a MASTERKEY aka AKDAS AK-12 UBS from Canfirearm dot com...

Here's my shout out to Canfirearm
https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/for...7247-Canfirearm-MASTERKEY-aka-AKDAS-AK-12-UBS

And here is a video that a fellow gun nut put together after I let him shoot it at the range.

There are more than a couple reasons the concept never went very far. I wouldn't use anything Turkish if I was going to bother again but it's an option for some.

Tenda has these.

Just bought one.

Did you notice that the way to tighten down the UBS in the pics gotenda posted look like qd which differs from screws for canfirearm?

Anyone have a gotenda UBS to confirm there is a difference?

Interesting. Tenda did post up a pic of the UBS on a wk180 - that picture shows the quick release type.

Tenda calls theirs the Gen 3.

Let us know when you get yours!

I sure will. I won’t be disappointed with either mounting system - I’ve not had the best luck with the cam type releases.

Do you have yours on hand?

I’m wondering how the mlok rails, mounted to aluminum mlok slots will hold up under recoil?

I've only fired mine with the factory rail/pistol grip, as seen in the video I posted of my buddy shooting it.

Put it on a pump 12g with a full length forearm rail and go grouse hunting lol! Plug both to 2+1 and have a combined capacity of 6, or show up to trap/skeet nights and call it your new under over. Fudds will loose their mind. Laugh2

Good catch I didn't see that one initially. Maybe there are two different models out in the wild then.

^ From Tenda's video above, it does appear that there are 2 latching systems... Mine (from Canfirearm) is a screw type & Tenda's is QD.
