I had my Spencer for 18 months before I sold it, I only had it in my possession for 3 of those months, the rest of the time it was in warranty

I shot one that a friend had. It had the absolute worst trigger pull I have ever seen. You could watch the hammer move slightly as you squeezed what felt like a 15 lb pull

was trigger pull the only problem they had or were there other problems. My experience with an original Spencer was that the extractor moves in a vertical direction as well as backwards and in doing so, saws through the rim of the cartridge. Probably not a problem with shooting original rimfire shells but definitely a problem when shooting home made shells using a 22 blank as a primer

Trigger pull on my was 13lbs, but the real problem was will the falling breech block, when you used the lever to load rounds, it would go past the stop and the block would come out the bottom of receiver and jam, you had to dismantle it and it would just happen again.
I found the post I put up on CASS about this problem https://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php?topic=64171.msg766055#msg766055
