Guys,

What is your go to ammo in your swiss arms rifle?
Anyone loading for their swiss?

From my experiance my swiss seems to prefer Remington or winchester in a 55gr bullet. But then again I have yet to try the RUAG. I have shot close to a case of Federal 62gr and it is less than outstanding. More stoppages too with this ammunition.

Who has shot the RUAG ammunition? Is it really as good as it looks?

American Eagle 62 gr has been absolutely flawless for function in my rifle, with about 1200-1500 rounds through so far... I'm sure the 2" groups are my fault, and not the rifle. Would like to put optics on one of these years.

RUAG makes the Swiss GP90 ammo. It is the most consistant service rifle ammo in the world and it is generally as good as most match ammo. All the rifle test targets are shot with GP90 ammo.

Some like the 69gr. smk and some don't. I had good accuracy to 300m with the 69s and they sh!t the bed at the 400 and 500m lines. ymmv.

I didn't have great success with the 69gr SMK bullets at longer ranges either. The best thing I ever shot from mine, with the original barrel was IVI. Now that I've rebarrelled I shoot 77gr SMK.

What about the CQB is there ammo of preference for it out to 100yards? All I have ever used is the Win white box 55g out to 100 yards.
