Thx bub it still shoes from last year when I got PAL
Saying the application was been issued bla bla bla
I'll give them a call on Monday and finde out what's happening they deffinetly receiveed it and signe for it
I send money order check with it picture the test results all signed and good
It's strange that has not yet show up on the portal
Maybe because I'm already licence holder and this is just upgrade

Feb 3/4 - completed CFSC/CRFSC
Mar 13 - CFSC/CRFSC Course results arrived in mail and application submitted online
Mar 18 - All references signed
Apr 10 - Licence Issued
Apr 26 - Licence received in mail.

For me:
Feb. 17 - CFSC
Mar. 25 - CFSC result arrived by mail (38 days)
Mar. 26 - PAL application submitted
Mar. 28 - All references signed, email recieved confirming application submitted for processing
May 22 - PAL application approved (57 days)
I'm hoping to get approval this week, but will likely call just to make sure there aren't any flags I need to address.
UPDATE
Just called the Ontario CFO, and though there aren't any flags on my application, he said they have a backlog of about 7000 applications, and are telling people it's a 6 month wait.

I've been following this thread during my application stage and thought I'd share my experience:
Jan. 28 - signed up for CFSC and CFRSC
Feb. 24/25 - CFSC and CRFSC (27 days)
Mar. 27 - results arrived by mail, PAL application submitted online, payment made and all references signed - all same day (31 days)
Apr.25 - application approved and license issued (29 days)
May. 7 - recieved license by mail (12 days)
Total 10 weeks, 2 days (from course completion to license in hand)
For Ontario

Did the course in July 2023. Applied early August, 2023 by mail (didn't want to use online stuff).
Received reply that photo was not endorsed end of September. Resent new photo with satisfactory endorsement. By December it was approved at National level, then sent to Ontario.
Was withheld for legal matter that was resolved mid-February, 2024.
Still waiting, it is with Area Firearms Officer and there is a claimed backlog by them.
So, that is 9 months now with some complications. But counting from mid-Feb that is 12 Weeks.

I'm currently at 43 days and counting (also in Ontario). I check online every day, but still sitting at "Application Successfully Submitted".

Well, I got my response. I was denied!
They cited a withdrawn assault charge that had a 1 year peace bond from 1996 -- 28 years ago! I'd forgotten it had a peace bond with it (pain in the ass abusive GF made a vindictive false charge against me, didn't go anywhere). One of the questions on the form is "Did you ever enter a peace bond?". I had answered No.
Then, there was a recent unfortunate assault charge that happened over the summer AFTER I'd made my application. What am I to do about that? There is no process for updating your application. That charge was also withdrawn -- accuser had no case and had a record of other incidences happening with others. The incident was withdrawn WITHOUT A PEACE BOND.

Anyhow, anybody got experience with the "hearing of reference" process? I have 30-days to refute this.

I did wait full 5 months to get my PAL but RPAL less than a month

I know and no references call at all very strange
Maybe it was so fast because I had PAL already, but don't understand about checking with my friends
Can't complain I guess it was more important to have that signature from wife Hahaha ������
