Just here to share this. I had a fixed ordered hours after release, arrived in 2 weeks. Thanks to many on this post on how to measure the "bend", I did several measure and have consistent result that mine was out of spec. During mid April, no one answered the phone (probably swarmed). I emailed them the pictures of the measurement and setup, TI pretty much reply back over night and settled on the ship back in a week (cudos to them). Shipping and refunding took another 2 week, no bs. So pretty much 3 weeks total for the refunding process.

BTW if you look down the barrel with bcg removed and the receiver hole is touching the barrel, then it is worth the measure. I used high power magnets as spacer and magnetically clamp the gun to a straight steel beam. The rubber foot on the clamps can flex and cause inaccuracy.

For those who wanted to see what it looks like once mounted.
The quality is not bad, it is quite easy to assemble although it can be a bit complicated to align each hole for the screws

I'm going to change the grip and put an M4 stock soon, but for the moment I have to wait for my shooting range to reopen to test it as is before investing more money on it. just to make sure everything is working correctly.
 
Heyo first post on here. Been lurking this thread since I placed my order or April 5th.

Got my underfolder and handguard in today, haven't seen any other pics of the underfolder with the handguard on yet so figured this might help someone out that's looking.

Feels sturdy, install was alright apart from trying to line up a couple of the holes (user error I'm sure!). Stock clears it all with room to spare although the wiggle when folded does make contact, I'll be putting some felt stickies on eventually to make it a little gentler. Stock folds just right to give my favourite stubby just enough room to be right where I like it. Will be getting an optic and new grip sometime in the near future

Overall very happy with it so far. Straight as an arrow and no defects that I can see at least. Can't wait to take it out this weekend and get some fun in

Hey there, so this looks absolutely beautiful. I have so many questions. I stepped away from this thread for a few days. Finally received. My rifle in the mail was originally ordered. March 12th was hung up in shipping for a couple of weeks but it finally came. How did you get the stock on? How did you get the aftermarket, mag in . Do you have a video or review explaining all of this?
 
Hey, everyone in the interest of saving sometime and going through all of the threads again. Can someone please tell me exactly what I should be looking for to inspect the quality of my underfolder that I received to? Day. Is there a outlining what to look for including the barrel symmetry?

Hey man. The stock is attached with a “Sigmaco” Zhukov adapter. It’s not really available right now unless you wanna pay a premium to find one used on GP or the EE. The mag is a standard magpul ak47 pmag. Lots of YouTube videos showing you how to make the magazine work with the type 81. It’s not hard at all.
