Bore Cleaner

IOSSO blue bore brushes, are they stiffer, or longer lasting than regular nylon?
Who has them in stock?

What I like about Thorro Klean is the second bottle is a thick liquid.
And really sticks to the brush.

Iosso blue nylon brushes are super stiff. Like almost bronze bristle brush level of stiff.

I just had a weekend in the gopher patch, 200 rounds fired from this 6mmBR, 50-600yds - Benchmark barrel, 31.2 Varget/87vmax/450. Just over 1400 rounds thru this one, it shoots like most 6mmbr's do...

Used the thorro-clean product - Before thorro, i put thru one wet patch of kroil, followed with a dry patch, then followed by two wet CLR (one push thru, one back and forth, and FYI my barrel has had no warranty for years so i like using CLR), followed by three windex wet, follwed by three dry patches

Then two wet Thorro-clean flush (one thru, one stroked back and forth) then a blue Iosso brush lubed up with Thorro-clean, and 15 strokes (Back and forth = 1 stroke, reapplied goop after 7 strokes), followed by three wet Thorro flush, followed by a couple dry, then Kroil patch, then three dry patches. First patches of session were dirty, especially after brushing - but cleared fast with the Thorro-flush.
Finished with a chamber clean and a final dry patch, last patch was almost pristine

Holy schmokes did it work - video below speaks volumes. Wish i had a 'before' video now...... The usual thick carbon ring was not there....happy happy happy.

This was the fastest, best regime have tried that works for me

Data point on 6.5x47L. 200 rounds. Cleaned at 100 (load dev and practice) and at 200 (NRL Hunter match).

Second hundred left.more deposits in rifling. Not much extra buildup near chamber. Decent sized carbon ring. I did 22 strokes with thorroclean abrasive full length. That got the front 95% clean. Back 3" still had deposits. Another 22 strokes of back 8" only got it clean 99%. Just a bit of discoloration remaining.

Carbon ring, I used a soft nylon brush same caliber with a patch over it, coated in boretech carbon remover. It goes tight and sticks in chamber. I pull it out, repeat. After a minute or so of this, the carbon ring is 99% gone.
