Peep sight for Cooey Model 75

Ardent

Not sure how fancy you want in a peep sight. Att pic is a model 82 with the original trainer peep sight. Adjusts for elvation only. The cooey 75,78 and 82 are the same action and barrel length. The 78 is a 75 with a peep sight. You can find peep sights some times at gun shows for as cheap as $20. If you want to put it on the 75 you have, you'd just have to have the back of the action milled flat and tapped for mounting----Cowboy

Cowboy, how does that peep adjust for elevation?

I have one of them peep sites mounted on a 39 Cooey but the one I have I can move for windage by loosening screw and moving it in the slot. Maaybe they made different types????

The sight elevation adjusts by loosening the sight CC, then sliding up and down on slotted rail. I think Bearcat is right it did have some wind adj. but not much. His 39 must have been done after as the 39 did not originally come w/peep sight. The 39 and 75 are same action so the cooey peep could be mounted by milling the rear of the receiver as shown in the pic of the 82----Cowboy
