help with XCR

okay I confess this is pissing me off.

Does anyone know how the hell to put the handguards (magpul textured ones) on the friggin rail covers?

Hook one side over picatiny rail (with slots aligned). Push along center of the cover to snap over the opposite side of the rail?

Guessing here as I have not seen magpul ones up close.

yes they are stiff.. as he said hold the rifle across your lap ,hook the side closest to you on the rail and with both hands roll/push the cover away from yourself. its a bugger the first time.

i have also heard of guys soaking the panels in boiling water to make the plastic more pliable.
