Anyone in Southern Alberta or even in Canada that sells these? Looking for one for a Remington 700 long action mountain rifle profile.

If you can get a few guys to go together and do a group purchase it really helps with the shipping costs.
Did that a few years ago and it ended up being about $15/stock.
Not sure how many they're allowed to ship at once these days, but back then it was up to 5 stocks per order.
 
I bought one from BitsofPieces in B.C. for a 10/22 years ago. I've also ordered direct from Boyds.
 
Or, you could just look up Robinson's Gunstocks Canada and pick one up from them. Great stocks and close in price, made in Canada.
 
My bad, I didn't know he had passed. Unless you mean Don Robinson? He was a good friend of mine and I miss him.

I was under the impression his business had been bought up and still working.

I'm having a great deal of trouble getting through to Boyds Gunstocks sales dept to place an order. I keep leaving messages to no avail.

Does anyone know if they are still in business and taking orders? I can understand them being overwhelmed with sales orders and not willing to take on new customers but at least reply to queries about ordering their products. How tough is that?

Boyds is a big company. I couldn't imagine they would stop taking new customers.

Did you try just ordering a stock through their website? I thought that was an option in the past...

Also, Mystic Precision used to deal in Boyds stocks, not sure if they still do but wouldn't hurt to ask 'em.

Thanks Bearhunter - They phoned back today and I had a good chat with them so all is well.

Can't wait to get my new stock but it looks like it will take a while.:d

I guess you have better computer skills than I have?

I have an account with Boyd's and have never been able to complete an order online. They asked me to call in the orders.

Sometimes I find that’s the best way to go, I inevitably have a question and it’s nice to chat with someone that can actually answer it.
