Will the Rifleman stand up to a 300 Win. Mag. ?

I'm really hoping yes as I don't want to have to get another scope
 
I was at the range one day. and another shooter was using a Tasco varmint scope on his 300 win mag. Surprisingly enough it tracked and held zero while he was sighting it in.

I have a couple of those, the made in Japan versions. Surprisingly good scopes for the money. Think I bought them for $99, on a sale. - dan

The rimfire scopes should be fine as well. The difference between a Leupold "rimfire" scope and a regular model is the fixed parallax setting. 50y on rimfire scopes vs. 100y or 150y on the regular models. This allows them to make one scope and sell it as two different things rather than making two distinct scopes.

I have Talleys on a couple of Model 7's and a Ruger 10-22 with no issues, I just wanted to try something new, these have a very nice "feel" to them and are finished very nicely.
I've ordered a set for a 700 long Action.
The set I have is headed for life on a Model 70 Supergrade long Action.
