And Epps got a bunch Westley Richard...
Does anyone have a clean and concise chart of the letter system used by parker. I know the numbers refer to frame size but then they add the alphabet and even names to some
Thank you very much.
anytime. BTW, I can verify, no Invincible grades here.![]()
Not to step on anyone's toes but Parker's really aren't my thing. I can appreciate the history and the quality but I find the hinge pin set up horrible to look at. I find the English and the spanish sxs much nicer to look at and I seem to shoot them better. The stock drop seems to fit me more than the American style
I had one of those a few years ago. I had it imported from the States and was supposed to be my forever gun. Turns out I couldn't hit beans with it as the POI was way off for me. I sold it at a loss and went back to the SKB M100 and all was well again.Got to handle a Parker reproduction 20ga. 26"
- I thought it shouldered well... If only it had had 2 triggers
You should sell me that 4E trap single to go with my 4E SxS...I have an Ithaca 4e trap gun that I'd love to get a 4e sxs to match but I'd need to have it restocked. The drop is way to low for me on their doubles. I can shoot Parker's but they really force me to adapt to them. It's not as natural. I can respect them for what they are. Now seeing the chart posted I have a better understanding for the grading system. I've noticed prices are all over the map. Some think because it's old and a big name it's worth big money. I've seen beat up Trojans that ppl were asking 2 grand for and I've seen some highly embleshished guns for not much more. Seeing a large lot listed in one place such as prophet river helps give an accurate idea of worth and market value here.
If it was an estate they took on someone had dedication and a love of Parker's that's for sure
