Who is hunting with cutting edge or hammer bullets or similar? Hollow points that shed their petals. Other designs like the woodleigh hydro?
CEBs supposedly expand down to 1500 fps and only shed their petals when they hit aqueous tissue and hammer through bone.
Any issues reloading these bullets?
Are they the "magic bullet" in terms of penetration and internal damage? If they work as advertised they seem like they would be a pretty impressive wildlife defence load too.
Would also be curious if anyone uses them in 223? They're available in 228, might turn a BRNO 22 HP over 12 gauge into a pretty solid deer gun.
Really open to any feedback and stories of using novel monometal bullet designs. I get the feeling these may be the future and address the supposed "slow killing" of traditional monos
