SolCan AIWB IWB Taco style holsters

From time to time, when people ask about holsters (often asking about in-Canada options as well), I re-visit the SolCan pages (to view the current iteration), but I haven't recommended SolCan yet - not once - and the main reason has been the unpredictability of what the finished product is likely to look like. Buyers have shown me their Solcan products enthusiastically, and they've been happy with them, but the (product to product) consistency is just not there; even in a given order, where the buyer ordered two, one has been this way, and the other has been that way. An exposed slide, for example, is not something that I would ever want, or recommend.

glad to hear people are happy!. I do try to stay consistent, and if changes are made to notify of the changes (via social media). New products or lineups will go through many changes however.
We are a Highly "Custom" shop. I could bang out generic no frills cookie cutter holsters much like "bladetech or "Gcode" ect.., but that's not what we do as we're "custom", often with unique one off holsters with the customer's requested features or recommendations.
Our products are also all made by hand and not by machine or mechanical process, so yes there would be some inconsistency. im not a machine
I'm Always open to customer Feedback and Critiques (A lot of which i have applied and incorporated). And yes often i do Try or Add different features to make improvements, just like any business trying to stay innovative. I guess i like being creative
, and there's Always room for improvement!.the exposed slide or race cut option is a competition feature for IPSC and the like (buyer requested), I do make holsters with full coverage
Thank you for your reply. Some retailers include a menu of specific options, and a pic of each option. The website has a variety of pics, but they don't address my questions, and - to me - it's difficult for a person to know what to expect (should they place an order). Of the examples of SolelyCanadian holsters that I've actually handled, there was inconsistency (in muzzle coverage) even between two models that (the owner said) were supposed to be the same - one had coverage, but the other had an exposed muzzle - which left me thinking that the person making it didn't really care one way or the other. (And, in fact, the owners of the holsters have all been happy with them, and they were happy that they'd been made in Canada.) Me, I know some of what I prefer, and one of the things that I prefer is to know what I'm ordering before I order it.
