I just picked up a Ruger#1 that has had a bit of work done to it.Rebarreled ect.The problem I'm having is there is no markings on the barrel and the owner is deceased.I got a bag of brass which is stamped 375H&H but by looking at it I know it aint.Shoulder angle is way to sharp. So my question is can you guys save me a trip to the smith???Is it a A.I version or a 375 Weatherby? Thanks Hope these pics help:redface:

Looks likethe bullet is a wild cat by Ackerly Improved(not sure of the spelling) but basically the shoulders are blowen out to accommodate more powder. They did it to the 30-30,30-06 as well as some older calibers. Shoot the same cartridge as the head stamp,as you have and they will form fire out to have sharp shoulders. You could get a set of dies from RCBC if you send them out of the cases.
Hope this helps.

The shoulder angle looks very similar to some I had a couple of years back that were made from 375 H&H; they were called 35 Mashburn Improved and used same loading info as 350 Alaska Shooting Times or whatever its called.
