Ruger LC Carbine N-R Barrel Conversions

Good morning folks,

Because of the interest we are going to be looking into doing N-R conversion barrels for the LC Carbines in both .45 ACP and 5.7x28. Once we some needed info from the supplier we will update here as to whether this is a viable project for us.

My fear (for you guys) is they make 18.5” versions of everything else, so would hate for them to do the same with the LC and you wasted your time in tooling setup.

But I want this in a 45 and maybe also a 5.7

This is a fear for any barrel conversions we do but fortunately for us (and unfortunately for the Cdn. shooting community) most large companies like this don't really give a hoot for us Snow Mexicans and already have their plates full of U.S. orders.

If we can do the project then we are happy to make a few bucks and expand the small but growing list of N/R rifles available here. Until we have a sample rifle in our hands we cannot say whether this project is a 'Go' or not but stand by here and when we have more information on it we will update this thread.

Fantastic! I would be in for a 45 NR of the LC Carbine! Then I'd have a good excuse to get a Glock G21 or G41 when, yes when, things get back to "normal".

There is only a rudimentary plan to first look at the feasibility of the project for now. Once we have something to go on, whether it be a yea or nay, I will update here.
