Hi everyone, just doing a sanity check here so I don’t have to run a 4 week gauntlet with TI customer service. I looked around on the red rifles section and I didn’t see anything posted recently, but I’m sure it’s been answered before.
I have the type 81M fixed stock (the orange one) from the latest shipment this year, what exactly is the thread on it? From everything I’m reading it seems to be M16x1 RH, but the wording on the TI site scares me. They have a slant compensator that has that same thread but the site says it’s for the SR/LMG versions only.
Also if every version does work, does anyone have opinions on looks for the different versions? TI has a 74 style, a slant comp, and a flash hider, as well as delta dynamics having their own custom version. I’m leaning towards the slanted to save 50 bucks, but looks wise I like the 74. Most of the modern furniture in black I have on it now is 74 themed so I might go all out.
