Round nose Lyman 358429?

I recently purchased an old Lyman mold #358429 / 962. The reference material I have found states that this is a Keith design 170 gr with a wad cutter type flat nose. However, this mold has a round nose. Were there other configurations of the 358429?

The current Lyman catalogue shows the 429421 is the Keith 44mag. The 357/38 Keith is shown as 358429. Confusing numbers! Could it be they have changed over the years?

I would have to check my mold. It's 50 yrs old Maybe the numbers have changed over time.

Here's a photo of my #358429 Clearly a Keith design SW plain base. I've had this mold for at least 40+ years!

the mold you have (358429) always sold as a swc profile. you may have a custom ordered mold from Lyman, or someone took it to a machinist for modification.
