I FINALLY GOT MY TWO DEACTIVATED HANDGUNS BACK FROM THE GUNSMITH.

I know the history of the Luger----and I know nothing about the history of the P.38 which I bought at a gun shop in Brockville Ontario in 2003.

His right to do as he wishes with his stuff, just like it's my right to think he is a massive dip#### for doing it.

Instead of insulting the OP you might have some sympathy for a gun owner who because of Liberal governments has to resort to deactivation to recover any monetary value from what were originally legal purchases.

Would you mind telling us why you won't 'encourage your sons to get into firearms? Nice collection by the way,

My Father and I would go shooting back in the 50s and 60s--targets---groundhogs-- crows. He died in 1976---I have not been shooting since then.
I have sold most of the guns we used to shoot back then---- on CGN.
I got more into antiques which we used to shoot ---then my Civil War collection became where my principal gun focus.

My sons and grandsons can inherit my CW collection without any licenses or government hassles.

I kept the Winchester Model 9422 shown below in case things change.

Any ideas of what price I should list them at Collectors Guild?

NOTE;

They still have my holster for sale shown below --asking $329 U.S. or best offer.

The three paperweights shown above were a lot more dough!

And I did not include the two holsters for the guns I just sent to Collectors Guild.

The owner of Collectors Guild said Lugers and P.38s sell quickly----these two guns might take longer.

i wouldve tried a museum.. Theres one out of Montreal that has hundreds of handguns, not deactivated.
Great place. You can use a computer to type in ID numbers to see who donated or what the history is

"Musee Canadien De l’Arme Et Du Bronze"

He was doing it before the ban. I don't have sympathy for anyone that dewalts anything and doesn't think it's wrong.

His threads turn into the same, trip down memory lane and this is what I used to have. He had many posts of this is my last gun, then posts another this is my last gun.. not sure how many this is my last gun posts from the OP. If anyone thinks a 200$ tt33 is worth 500$ after it's a paperweight with crude welds. That's kinda the problem.

Never heard of that museum, just saw the photos online and it looks to have a pretty awesome collection. Going to have to do a road trip that way and check it out!

For your info--for they that don't like the fact that I had the two handguns shown above DEACTIVATED and sent to Collectors Guild for sale.
