remington titanium 260

Talley lightweights and a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 (stainless) will be mounted on mine as soon as it shows up...lookin like it'll be ahead of schedule!!

Here next week you say! I guess I will have to go and talk to him on friday.

will have to go with weaver rings for now as I want to play with some scopes/ different bullet weights.
Hopefully the finally rifle will be:

Leupold compact scope 2-7x
lonewolf summit xl stock(arrived yesterday)
and the rifle.
weight of package should be around 5#5oz.

I'll set-up all three off my 260's and run the same ammo through each to compare. I think I'll use 120 grain Nosler BT's over 47 grains of H4350 in Rem brass. I'll also step it up to the 129 SST and down with 100 grain Nosler BT's to see which each prefers. I know my BDL DM S/S with a 24" barrel likes the 100's and 120's...the Sako seems to eat it all very well...but the 700Ti will likely only be used with 130's in the TSX and AccuBond...so here's hoping that it likes them. RL19 is on my shopping list! Already have some Lapua 243 Win brass to be re-sized to 6.5mm and a wack of Fed Gold Match primers are on their way to me. The Ti will take a little time to get dressed up...she's gonna have to get the Talleys lapped for the Leupold and the new S/S trigger guard all customized...not to mention a trip to Joe (gunsmith) for aluminum bedding job to keep it as light as possible.

It isnt expected of a Ti to shoot with a Sako, just like it isn't expected for a Sako to come in at 6 lbs scoped :)

She is slated to arrive on Tuesday of this coming week. I'll post pics asap. Then she's off to the smith this friday for bedding and Talleys lapped to house the Leup VXII and have the S/S trigger guard modified on a milling machine to lighten it up.

Not sure about the rest of the guy's but I have had mine for over two weeks now and I did not go and pick it up right away. I think he was ordering them in shipments of 5 at a time, depending on demand. Reason I would say is that they are are a hard item( niche gun for out here ) to sell for the price where most people will not pay the price for them in that caliber.
Anyways completed mine with new stock and glass beding.

rifle, wolfe summit xl stock, leupold 2-7 compact scope, weaver rings(yes! for now), 4-140 rounds, sling...a hair under 6lbs.

I had to use a lot more glass beding than want it to at the front lug. Should be a good truck gun!hahahah.

I don't really care what the couple week delay was....I won't really do any shooting with this rifle until my range is a little more solid. Its under a foot of mud right now and one heck of a mess. I'll start off with loading the AccuBond 130's over RL19 and a large magnum rifle primer to see how that goes followed by just large rifle primers. I'll switch powders if need be to find that magic load. Then move on to the 130 TSX's. My sako 260 was shooting on Saturday with the BDL DM and the loads I had made from last year were all sub MOA but not tight enough. The sako came home and had the rings tightened up and needs some final sighting in, but that BDL DM had come back from bedding and still seemed to be tossing about 1MOA...although the rest certainly wasn't the best for sure.

SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW....its like holding a 22 cal! This thing is going to be a real nice shootin iron. It arrived in perfect shape and never even had the bolt run through by appearence. This makes my 3rd 260 Rem and its a fantastic collection so far. This one is going to run 130g pills exclusively, while my BDL DM will run everything else...from 95's up to 139's. The ISS bolt shroud is going sone to be replaced with a Cera coated Piercision aluminum bolt shroud / spring and firing pin. The trigger guard is going to get replaced as well. For what ever reason....the trigger on this rifle is AMAZING for a factory Remington (old style)
