Waiting on one in 762x39 and no stock or word on availability. Called a couple of local places, been searching online, does anyone have any news or dates?

The first batch was already in canada a couple of months back. You gotta be quick as these are popular right now.

Yea, I thought I saw one in Cabelas a month or two ago and totally passed it by. Hopefully they get some in again.

Site sponsor IRunGuns has a few available.

Nothing available in 762x39 so it would have to be imported and the site to import gave me a headache, plus I can't pick up even though I'm in Edmonton? I'll just wait for Tenda, P&D or Cabelas to get a bunch.

Do you have to fully prepay for a IRunGuns order before it can be placed? Then wait two months?

I seen a Ranch 7.62x39 early in 2024, was gone quick

That's what I keep hearing. Quick.

Here's one in Grande Prairie,

Yes you need to pay and then wait with IRG if it's being imported, wait time depends on the cut off date for orders 2 months would be on the longer side of the expected wait time.

Just got told about Bartons today by someone that just ordered from them. I'll give them a shout tomorrow. Thanks.

If you find a place Id appreciate a heads up :)

I only found 2 for sale in Canada when I bought mine. Grande Prairie dealer and Firearms Outlet. GP wanted $1100 plus shipping. FO had a sale and I got it for $829 at my door. It's nice, but the bolt is a little janky. Magazines are $50 a pop from Red Deer Shooting Centre.

I just mounted an older Leupold scope and hope to get it out to shoot next week, hopefully the weather is nice and the newer Norinco ammo isn't terrible.

I do see Cabelas has it in 308 now, stock online and some limited in-store.

You pay twice. The full payment for the gun first then the second payment is for postage( about 65$) and the taxes

Why wait when you could ask Prophet River to import it for you and then go and pick it up....

I didn't wait, Firearms Outlet had stock AND a sale going, plus shipping to my door so I didn't have to drive to Saskatchewan. I guess it's technically Alberta.

I tried them but it was going to take a while as they needed to import it and have it clear and then ship it to me. I was surprised they don't have a pick up location in Edmonton. I'd gladly go down and grab it since I'm here, save the shipping charges and time.
