Duck/ geese hunting license in alberta. Looking for info

Hi yall, first time going to hunt. Learning what I need. So far I have.

Win card.
Hunters ed course.
Migratory game bird license.

Am I missing anything to hunt? Is there a license I'm missing?

Mig game bird license is a federal license, you will also need all the provincial paperwork as well, wildlife certificate & game bird license.

It is a Provincial Hunting Lic.
Allows you to hunt small game and then for big game you need added tags...
Do not forget permission if looking to hunt on private property which may or may not be posted.

Thanks, I want too, but I never done it, I have a friend who hunts duck and geese so he said I can tag along. I'm grateful to learn and want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Pheasant is a good one I want to go.

If you are hunting with a firearm you need a PAL.

Otherwise you should be good to go, make sure you check out the seasons and limits for the zone you're hunting in.
