THE CRYPTO, Non-Restricted 5.56 IN STOCK NOW !!!

For those worried about being beta-testers for an untested rifle… I wouldn’t be too concerned to be honest.

This might be a bit verboten to say, but that is clearly just an AR-15. It’s not clear how it differs at all (besides not mating with a milspec upper/lower) and is certainly functionally identical.

Mind you I think the ban was retarded and applaud all attempts to sidestep it.

I think the well demonstrated reliability of the AR platform should contribute to some trust on this offering.

I bit. I’m a genie pig now too.

Side note - I could not get the darn website to take my credit card so I sent an EMT.

Anyone else having problems?

We did recently move to our country home, as our primary residence, but we changed our CC info to match.

Oh- well.

The nice thing is if anything is wrong with it you can fix it yourself unless the rec set itself is out of spec. No proprietary nonsense like the raven, no ugly ass side charger or lightenening cuts. Ill prob pick up some sets when theyre available but this seems like a decent option so far. Also LOL at the excuses that they were bringing out the raven in steps, like no FA, dust cover or ar15 bcg cause "it would look too much like an ar15 so the rcmp would ban it"

seems like crusader has the ability to produce lots so i dont think there is a rush to order. If it remains NR then these things we be produced plenty. Got to mention its a great price!

I really think there wont be any new legislation or activity on c21 this year. The liberals may put something forward to run on it for the next election but essentially no risky bills will be tables or implemented until the next election. Parliment on all sides will be in election mode going forward

Wes and Ryan are probably really disappointed they can't get their buybacks fast tracked soon enough while at the same time getting a liberal gold star, but seems to me I'll hold tight on everything including these rifles, politics is getting a bit interesting these days. Might be back to the old days sooner than later.

I mean they definitely played it safe. When Raven came out the gov was planning to ban every semi auto rifle and shotgun pretty much. Now the crypto is testing the waters like the ATRS did. We shall see what happens, good timing though with conservative gov potential in next year.

According to Steve from Spectre LTD / Crusader / Whiskey1 in a recent Code of Arms interview, the mags should work in AR magwell rifles like the Raven or MCR, in the event the ban against pinned/riveted magazines is enforced. Can someone with the Crypto mags and a standard AR magwell firearm confirm this?

If someone really wants to get the FRT ball rolling, for good or ill, Steve from Crusader / Spectre LTD noted in his Code of.Arms interview the first attempt to register a Crypto with a Restricted-length barrel will cause the creation if an FRT entry. This has already happened with the WK.

Lots of people don't recall the flimsy side walls on the Templars. I've noticed this same flimsy side wall design in the crypto. I'll be holding off. Seen way to many posts on other platforms of those side walls crumbling.
