For me, the worst is what to do with guts etc from road kill deer. The cops won't let you gut them at the roadside.
I have put them in the garbage, but, the possibility of the bag breaking on the way into the truck, and the resulting hard questions as to where all the blood and guts came from has canned that idea. I deliver them to the dump myself now, or, I take them to Fogduckers bear bait barrel.

Some guy here dumped a half dozen caribou into ditch off of local secondary highway (Kamiskotia) the worst part about it is that he only took the back halves......the crows were still there yesterday.

I put them right in the middle of my field. 400yds from the bush. Mr coyote better be high-ballin' it to make it to the trees......

But they are getting smarter. Comin' out at night to feed instead.

My dog usually eats the spine, liver and heart off the geese. The rest goes in the green bin.

Back to the woods mostly but have taken them a couple of times to the local dump where they have a special area for animal carcasses.

All my waterfowl carcasses went into a garbage bag then the dumpster at work. Nobody ever asked a question.
