I’d also prefer a preorder.Well... THAT weekend I was away I missed the drop-in saleI am guessing there won't be anymore in near future? Since you guys have so many other stuff to do as well... Would it possible to still place an order for future batch?
It is just not possible to please everyone all the time guys, sorry. I gave folks 24 hours notice and it went from there, this is fair for 99% of people and is all we can do.
Heads up, we sent out 11x barrels for bluing yesterday and they should realistically be back by this time next week. A week after that the barrels will be assembled with trunnion, gas blocks, gas system parts etc., test fired and the last 24 hour notice will be posted here on this thread. That will be the last batch in the foreseeable future, srry ,but we got a significant LE contract for shotguns so this will take up our fall.
The last lot of barrels sold on the website had a big issue with people ordering from VPNs and weird email domains and the orders were cancelled by the anti-fraud software. This was just a nightmare for me to sort out yesterday so for the next lot we will ONLY be accepting orders paid with EMT. Very sorry if this is a problem for you but it is just something I cannot control as far trying to make the website accept orders of this value from all of the different email addresses and VPNs and Starlink addresses etc. If for some reason you don't like this method then I'm sorry about that but it is what it is.

in the other topic about the trunnion and gas block there was discussion about handguard compatibility. Can you confirm what works with what? I am intending to install this new NR barrel on my factory CZ USA 16” rifle. Will this not fit?

No, the factory hand guards are too narrow. If you want to use our machined gas blocks then you MUST have an HBI handguard or it will not fit unless :
1) you have the short gas system barrel and short factory handguard and purchase the custom bottom support rail from us. OR :
2) you have a long gas system barrel but use a short factory handguard which means our machined gas block is way down the length of the barrel and exposed. Not ideal for looks or shooting and getting a burnt debris facial.
These are the only two configurations whereby you can use a factory short handguard with our machined gas blocks. The long factory hand guard is not possible in any configuration.

So, these are not drop-in barrels for the factory 16.5in Bren2s?
I have to buy an additional hand guard to make this new barrel work?
Yes. Dlask gas block too thiccc and doesn't work with either the CZ USA 16" model handguard (which I think is actually made by HBI for CZ USA?) or the CZ euro one which is more scarce here at the moment, pending the new NRs coming in.

That’s kind of a massive oversight I wish was disclosed beforehand.
It was mentioned in one of the other threads but I think only referring to the short handguards and not the longer carbine ones. I agree that a disclaimer should be added to the store page. We follow things closely here but not everybody is on CGN to do that.
Looking at the euro CZ handguard again, it may work with that one because of how much the gas block is exposed compared to the CZ USA one, just a guess though.
No, incorrect. The larger diameter HBI produced unit from some of the U.S. sourced rifles it is ok and will fit. The narrow handguard which is basically just the short handguard but longer...that is the one that's too narrow.
The REAL CZ-USA guns have the NARROW handguard. The 922 compliant part is HBI.

Looking at pictures and comparing, I would say that the 10.8” probable partially covers the gas block, but not fully like the 16” MS Carbine handgaurd should, if that indeed fits.

This is exactly the same dimensions as the short version it is simply 'stretched' to a mid length. Our machined gas blocks do NOT fit into this CZ version.

Thank you for the confirmation. I personally think the best one is the one found on the US carbine, but that’s a matter of opinion. I am glad to hear that your barrels will indeed fit the handguard I have installed.
Hey Leigh, off topic question with regard to Dlask barrels but ON topic with regard to the Bren 2. Do you know if that little picatinny section on the bottom of the handgaurd is machined in? Or is it a mlok to picatinny screw-in piece? I figure you might know as I'm sure you've handled most if not all of the Bren variations we have.
