Am I the only unlucky owner of a browning 30/06 that has a mag popping out issue when it has 3 rounds in it?
Wondering if it's why the guy I bought it from was selling it? Tried a new mag and same thing.
Searched of course online and the only problem I found was failure to feed?
Anybody else had this issue? May have to scope up the trusty weatherby again..

Make sure it is fully seated to start with... if so - maybe sharpen up the edge of the latch a bit.

Probably not, I have one of those magazines sitting on the bench. Picked it up a few years ago on a trail, had 3 rounds in it.

I had my mag fall out once two years ago, right after shooting a round . I believe it was not inserted properly (inserted quietly as possible) 2004 xbolt hunter

no problems since then, i make sure its popped in all the way

Was the barreled action out of the stock recently ? If so, was it seated back down in properly ? Receiver screws torqued ?
Just theorizing ...lol

Hi Kevin, I’m actually not sure about that. I bought it used. Hoping this isn’t the reason why it was for sale. Will check torque on these. Thank you very much.
