I would have already bought it if I didn't spend my gun budget on a PC9 like 2 weeks ago... And I just spent the last few months on the lookout for a medium bore lefty rifle too, finally decided to spend my money on something else on my to-buy list, and then this comes up for sale. bah. Such is life...That’s a beauty! Betting it doesn’t last long!

It is a real shame these rifles aren't available anymore. I wonder if its a matter of no availability, or just no importer - I think TradeEx was bringing them in before? But they retired years ago at this point...I've got the 9.3 version. It's a very well built rifle. It's a shame there isn't more of them out there.

Maybe this is an opportunity for Frontier? Zastava still lists the m70 rifles on their webpage.
I bought the 9.3x62 version as well. During a deep cleaning I noticed the stock had cracked in four places under the lug and around the action. Had to purchase a boyds as a replacement. I wasn't really impressed after probably 30 rounds or so.I've got the 9.3 version. It's a very well built rifle. It's a shame there isn't more of them out there.
How's the Boyd's holding up?I bought the 9.3x62 version as well. During a deep cleaning I noticed the stock had cracked in four places under the lug and around the action. Had to purchase a boyds as a replacement. I wasn't really impressed after probably 30 rounds or so.
The Boyds is a laminate so not expecting any issues. They are not cheap by the time they arrive here in Canadastan but seem good quality. It is an inch or two shorter in the forearm than the Zastava but that's not a big deal. How's the Boyd's holding up?
Im gonna guess it cracked at the tang?I bought the 9.3x62 version as well. During a deep cleaning I noticed the stock had cracked in four places under the lug and around the action. Had to purchase a boyds as a replacement. I wasn't really impressed after probably 30 rounds or so.
No believe it or not all cracks were forward, in the mag well area and in the recoil lug area. There were four in total and I would have fixed one or two but not worth trying to fix four of them. Frankly I just chalked it up to a very cheap stock.Im gonna guess it cracked at the tang?
I removed about ⅛" in the inlet and bedded mine before even shooting it. Same thing happened with two of my other mauser actions without crossbolts. Same place, at the tang. It's like there's not enough room removed from the inlet on new wooden stocks.
That's interesting but also unfortunate. No believe it or not all cracks were forward, in the mag well area and in the recoil lug area.
