ah OK the spelling, sorry for that I was asking for a cooking book...What I need is - what weight H380 powder would be the ideal amount for 155gn Sierra Palma for target shooting 300-600 meter rings.
I just made today two dummy amos from a chamber (with loctite method) and finally I can calculate the bullet seater from there.

Give the guy a break, I believe his first language is Hungarian not English.
So far I have no process on my own for reloading.
With this my 308 f-class project gun I inherited also from a friend made me a batch of amo that I spent all of it getting familiar with the gun.
He made two different loads for me,
- The first 50 rounds with 46.6 gn with bullet slightly extended, it was kind of OK @ 200-300 below a 1/2 MOA on rings, but at that time I didn't had Labradar data.
The second 50 rounds was with 42.7gn and he pushed the bullets deeper in the neck. The groups got slightly tighter about .4 MOA @ 300, but at that time I already got the Labradar data, the ES/SD was a bit erratic in my eyes.
He gave me all he's surplus reloading equipment a full trunk load, I just needed to buy the die sets, which finally arrived to my hands last week.
Measured with Ballistic-X, but I didn't purchased the license and won't save the image.
This was the first batch, zeroed at 200. The picture shows a jump from 200 to 300 is 19 clicks. The gun was resting on table top tripod and rear PQP rest.
Next batch @ 300 I already got a Rempel rest in meantime and the rear is the same PQP.
I have more target faces from Aug, but wife moved a lot of boxes to garage, I need a work party to dig my targets out.
In Sep I was away and didn't visited the range since.
H380 measurers perfectly. No need to weight each charge. For best results, use a standard Winchester primer or a magnum CCI primer.
But for best accuracy, switch over to Varget or N140 and load 46.0 to 46.5 gr under that 155 bullet.

Those groups look excellent. because of barrel harmonics, the best ES/SD loads may not shoot the best. Don't argue with the groups.
Try the same powder charge with 3 different seating depths. If one shoots a better group, use that OAL as "THE" OAL.
Then, using that OAL, try that powder charge and 0.2 more and 0.2 less. See which shoots the best.

I just sourced a box of shot shells for aneiling that will be mine own fresh start reloading. Still have one "box" primed but I know not much about history and details because I inherited these.

Well - There is a reason for that. 380 is sub-optimal (slow and bulky) for the 308 with 155 g pills, giving rise to compressed loads. Varget certainly fits the bill, is commonly available, and well documented in the Hodgdon data centre. Suggest you pick up a manual going forward, the Lyman book is a great resource.

Lyman, Sierra and Speer all have data for H380 and 150gr and 165gr .308 bullet. Pick the lowest minimum starting charge and work up, just because there isn’t a listed load for your specific 155gr bullet doesn’t mean you can’t work up a safe load.
The target pics you posted, what is the bullet/powder combo you’re shooting? Is it the Sierra 155’s and H380?

Send me ur mailing info and I’ll send you a Hornady reloading manual and a pound of Varget to get you going. Nice shooting bigHUN. H380 and WW760 are the same powders and work great in smaller calibres like 22-250. As mentioned the Varget or VV will be better and more stable plus easier to ingite. Just pm me and I’ll get it in the mail. I’m only a couple hours east of you so it shouldn’t take long.
