The Novus MDS-3 is a reproduction of the Russian VZOR-1 red dot sight. It is a proven, compact design featuring an 6061-T6 housing with durable Hardcoat Type III Anodizing and easy to use rubberized side adjustment buttons. The sight is rated to 1000G of shock resistance and is IPX8 waterproof and has a 2 MOA red dot for quick and precise targeting.
8 Daylight and 2 Night Vision settings ensure optimal reticle brightness regardless of the lighting conditions and Anti-Reflective and Anti-Fog lens coatings ensure that regardless of the environment, the sight can still be used. Improvements over the original design include an auto-sleep/auto-awake function and a 36,000 hour battery life, all on a standard 1.5V AAA battery (not included).
Comes standard with full suite of accessories: quick release picatinny mount, fixed picatinny mount, 45 degree offset mount, 30mm riser, 39mm riser, front and rear flip up lens caps, front ARD (Anti-reflection device), adjustment tool, manual and all necessary mounting hardware.
