58 vs. 58L vs. 858 (looking for info)

As for diferent models:

VZ-58 (actually called Sport 2003) is semi-auto version of VZ-58 with all parts of military specs on semi-auto receiver without full auto parts.

vz58s is a nick name given by the retailer for CZH2003 Sport where CZ = Ceska Zbrojovka (Czech Arms) H = Hermex S.R.O. The company that builds these clones, 2003 = the year they started getting produced.

VZ-858-2 is specially made model for Canada, which has a specially made extra long barrel that makes it non-restricted. The downside is that the barrel is not chrome lined.

CZ 858 Tactical 2 Built by the orginal sa.vz58 manufacturer CZ-UB
= Ceska Zbrojovka Uhersky Brod (Czech Arms) The CZ 858 Tactical that sells in Europe has the original chrome lined barrel the same barrel as the CZH2003S

VZ-58L is the same as VZ-858 but with chrome-lined barrel.

The VZ-58L is a nick name given by the retailer for CZH2003L Sport where CZ = Ceska Zbrojovka (Czech Arms) H = Hermex S.R.O. The company that builds these clones

Therefore the internal setup is the same for 1 and 3

Sa. VZ58
Sa. is short for Samopal which directly translated means self shooting known as machinegun
VZ is short for VZOR which means TYPE,
58 = the year it came into service

58

Palinak....

Since you actually seem to know real information and not just opinionated hype, the internal changes to the receiver of the 58L??? what has been done? welding or epoxy?

I appreciate your factual informaiton that is somewhat actually related to the initial question.

I'm in the same boat with the 58L since I would prefer a chromed barrel but non restricted I'm kind of stuck for the time being.
