first and foremost, take the action out of the stock and sand the paint off the aluminum pillars both top and bottom, then reassemble the rifle and torque the action screws to 45 inch pounds. clean that barrel really well, if it's like any bergara I have played with, they foul fast, and they foul bad, once you've done that, keep a good record of how many shots you put down it between cleanings before deciding or not if it shoots or doesn't, I'd also shoot a group without a muzzle brake on the barrel to rule that one out as well
