I didn't want a mint green one. I have a dark green 9" and now a 16" in black. Mint Green just doesn't work for me, it's a generational thing I guess. See post below. I didn't scroll down far enough to get to their sale price. Me dumb!

Yup you are right. If you scroll down on their website you find the lessor price. Excellent buy. If you have not bought one that's the best price I have seen.

Ps I'll phone Marstar tomorrow to see if they will price match.

Got a black 16" for $404 after waiting for g4c for 5 days. They say they emailed me. Got the 1st emails but somehow not the one that wanted additional info. To be fair g4c fully refunded but not telling me there was a problem after 5 days...oh well.

Bullseye for the win! ;)

Try Liangjian Outdoors, they have GSG 16" $400 tax included plus shipping.

Well my 16" arrived today from Marstars. It was cheaper than the 10" but came with only one mag and no case which is OK. The case I got with the 10" won't accomodate the red dot sight. Very happy with both. Have not had a chance to fire the 16" yet. I think it balances better than the 10" but the 10" might have the edge maneuvering around baracades. These guns are way to much fun to shoot. Cheap practice for PCC.

Mine has a pistol RMR sight + low mount making the carbine barely fit inside the OEM case... It's a nice case. I also use it to haul my CZ457 around.

Ahem, I have a Public Service Announcement regarding cased firearms:

Carrying cased firearms by the handle in the "Australian" position (optic inversion) in other Commonwealth countries is considered by some to be bad luck. It is thought that keeping the optics skyward brings them closer to their friend the Sun, provider of light, and keeps their mortal enemy the Earth, shifter of POI, at a safe distance during their travels.

Thank you for pointing it out! It scared me because I often had these [backup] 22s in the trunk with the case handle upwards. Thought I was saving some storage space lol... Luckily no harm was done. Just learned my lesson of the day! Thanks again

Took the 16" out today. 100 rds 20 of which were consumed to sight in the Sig Red Dot.
Amazing how this gun runs flawlessly. From a rest under an inch at 25 yards. The trigger on this gun and the 10" are light years better than the Savage A 22., Remington, Marlin Papoose, or Cooy own.
There is no light between either gun. I think the longer gun balances better and over the Chrony I gained 30fps using the 16" barrel if that makes a difference using American Eagle 138 gr cartridges.
I use very little lub on these guns. When I cleaned the 10" after 600 rds was really not necessary. I think more 22 rifles have been ruined by over cleaning. I'm not into Olympic shooting I plink and in the past hunted copius amounts of gophers, squirrels and partridge. For those uses having a virgin barrel is simply not necessary.
If you ate looking for a serious plinker capable of bringing home dinner, holing tin cans and cleaning up on gophers out to 50 yards these little guns deserve a serious look.
The fun factor is off the charts.

FWIW, I have 17,000 rounds through my GSG and I've only broken the MIM cheap metal cover for the bolt carrier group (I made a thread on here about it). I've also had the front sight screw back out and I lost it. Both were replaced by Blueline under warranty (took about 6 months for parts).

A good fun little plinker.

I would buy a GSG 16 in a heartbeat if the barrel didn't droop downwards. It is hardly noticeable specially if you're not looking for it.
It's not a functional issue, though.
Come on, no you wouldn't. I own two GSG16'S and neither have droopy barrels. I have to hand it to you, you got me off the couch to check. Congrats! My two, off the bench using 6MOA red dots shoot 1" groups at 25 yards. With my eyes that is remarkable.
You may not like Germans, guns from Germany, semi auto 22s, guns that are just plinkers, whatever. But please...droopy barrels...

First I've ever heard of a droopy barrel as well. But then again, I have a Dlask 9" and it's been perfect. Nice and straight.

So like the Germans to produce barrels that droop. A friend of mine has a second uncle who dated a girl whose brother's best friend had a MP5 prototype that had a droopy barrel. If you stood beside him you risked getting shot. I swear it's true.
