I just recieved my used Llama Comanche 3 after waiting 8 weeks for the ATT... took it to the range and shot a total of 99 rounds, 50 .357mag and 49 .38special rounds. (wolf factory ammo, so the loads were not hot)

after the last .38 round the cilinder would rotate (spin) when it is locked into the gun.

dose anybody know how I can fix this or will I need a gunsmith.

Please don't say "you should have bought a Smith and Wesson" because that dosn't help me at all.

I love the gun, how it looks and it shoots great, but I just need it to work properly again.

Any suggestions???

this is my first revolver.

sounds like the internals are in need of a gunsmith, something is loose in there that shouldn't be - sounds like a job for a pro.

It may just be that the cylinder stop has got gunk stuck in it, and is not popping up to lock the cylinder. Try squirting some WD40 into the hole in the top of the receiver, at the bottom of the cylinder.

and then go get it cleaned, because that is extreme dirt :D

I thought revolvers never failed?? Only 99 rounds to failure. That's not much shooting.

TDC

thats not a Revolver :nest:
like some have said give the cylinder good cleaning. I take mine right out and let it sit in hops#9 for a day or so then i scrub it clean if you have a air hose use it to blow all the crap out. But i would still take it into gunsmith just to be safe
