Hi,

I have a relatively new 1301 gen 2 tactical that has been a dream up until my last two outings. I have been getting a failure to feed and can’t seem to find any information online about it. *I should mention I ungraded the lifter to the pro lifter from beretta*

After I fire, the shell gets ejected and the following shell gets loaded on the lifter but gets stuck on its way up between the barrel and magazine tube. It really doesn’t take much to fix the malfunction; all I do is ever so slightly tap the lifter and the shell gets fed.

This doesn’t happen every time, but enough that it’s starting to get real discouraging. Anyone have this issue before?

Is the lifter bent or warped?
It should be a drop in part, so I'm curious if you maybe got one slightly out of spec. Seems like the lifter isn't lifting properly without some manual assistance as if it's catching on something internally or not quite springy enough to do it's job.

The lifter seems to be in perfect condition

Thanks, I’ll try to recreate the failure at the range and take a picture. I’ll also try different ammo and see how that runs.

And try at least one other brand of ammo. There are differences and sometimes a gun is finicky.
