Mags for Tanfog Limited Custom and Stock

Can you use the same mags for a Tan. Limited Custom (40) as you do for a Stock (again, 40 cal) ? Same double stack mags with basepads ?

Nope. The LC is a large frame, while the Stock is a small frame, and therefore smaller mags. They will fit a Stock II, which is a large frame but uses the smaller mags.
