Good point. So he’s probably just very uninformed and ignorant about firearms and erroneously thinks that ROOF is some sort of common technical term.

I’m going with he/ she wants to set themselves with a unique way of communicating. If that’s the case they/them have successfully done that.
When I saw that their/them had the ban lifted I went on his/ her profile and read all the threads that were started and there are signs that complete coherent sentences are possible. Whether or not they are made in short windows of lucidity I won’t speculate.
Most of the threads were locked down with no comments on any of them.
