What are some of your guys favorite milsurp carbines?

I have and like a 1909, but the lack of a pistol grip profile in the buttock is its Achilles heel. It’s also really no shorter than say a modern hunting rifle or k98k.

Though... what I want is a Delisle carbine... I would go broke on .45 auto quietly shooting cans.

M38 Mosin Nagant is a great carbine and can give you some fun fireballs on occasion.

Well, two Brazilian Navy carbines, 44 Winchester, from my friend's dad that he gave me when he passed. They are great, and also a piece of history, his dad's name engraved on the stock when he was still a Lieutenant, and he retired as an Admiral.

There’s nothing like the Steyr M95. Second favorite is the Peruvian 91 with the gewehr 98 sights.

sporters re-barreled to 32-40 Win and 45 ACP. I be keeping them till I croak.

The prettiest carbines imo are the Swedish Mauser carbines (M/94) and while you can still find them the VZ 52 or VZ 52/57
