What are some of your guys favorite milsurp carbines?

Spanish Destroyer carbine. Nice cartridge to shoot, picked the gun up cheap. Too bad they're not more commonly available.

Steyr M95 Stutzen; handy and straight-pull to boot.

Actually I put a bit more thought into this. My Swiss K93 (1893 Mannlicher) is likely my favourite to shoot. The GP-90 power ammo is fairly soft shooting and the rifles are smooth as silk as they are basically M95's (M90 action) which didn't go through 60+ years of war and as such are in much better condition.

Me too - the LEC is a terrific carbine, much lighter than a No 5. The shorter barrel makes it stiffer too.

I had them all and I enjoyed them. No5 was my first Lee and that rubber butt pad was hard as a rock.

I have an M1 Carbine and Lee Enfield No. 5 Mk I. Love the look of the short Mausers that seemed to be popular in South America.

I've always liked the #5 Jungle Carbine (as it tends to be called). The recoil is nothing near as bad as some people claim.

Me too. As I said in another post, these can be reduced-loaded with TrailBoss powder and Soviet 7.62X 39 projectiles for plinking that should not damage old guns.

Despite being a Canadian/British collector the Swedish 1894/14 is probably my favorite with the Swiss K11 being a close second.
