Thank you TENDA!

And? Maybe the guys' behaviour raised a red flag. "I want it tomorrow" - did you read it? They should have asked him for a copy of his DL and a copy of a recent matching utility bill instead of the PAL number but I guess they wanted to make it easier for him.

There is a lot of cc fraud going on.
How about a date with his virgin daughter instead!

Have you lost your mind? A copy of his utility bill?

FFS!......:(

I don't think you get it.

Some mentioned here that it was not legal to ask for the PAL number.

What I suggested is legal to confirm the ID of a person. A merchant is not obligated to accept a cc if a red flag is raised. First order with them and the changing the shipping option to one day shipping IS a red flag for an item over $300.

Yeah I ordered something on the 18th. I received a UPS tracking that evening and now as of the 21st UPS has not picked it up.
3 full days of it sitting and waiting.
This is a courier issue from what I can tell. If nothing happens tomorrow then I will reach out to Tenda

It is always like this with Tenda. Been ordering from them for years. From order to pickup by UPS is usually one week, get used to it. They are high volume. Nothing to worry about. I always chose free shipping (over $300) but add insurance which is cheap (not the crazy prices some other vendors are offering).

If you want it faster, you have to order somewhere else.

Sit back and relax.

My orders from Tenda always end up sitting for a few days. Almost Seems like they only do courrier pickups once a week or so.

So now we've established that ordering systems sometimes ask you for more info than necessary, and sometimes your order missed the courier pickup, can we all agree that Tenda is a reliable business and one needs to get one's order in early enough that one doesn't end up ranting on here that Tenda failed to correct for one's piss-poor planning during a postal strike?

He absolutely doesn't get it.

Some people here are just so ####ing paranoid that any time you mention anything about their PAL, they think the ONLY possible reason is data collection to give to the government, and the government is going to use it to confiscate their guns. It couldn't possibly be used as a simple second form of identification to prevent the significant amount of fraud they've been dealing with lately.

Like, imagine if that's what Tenda was doing. You think it would be good business for a company to be selling its customers out? Wouldn't have many customers left after a while, lol.
